The ooh la la Salon Team

Peggy Newlan

Peggy, the leading lady and corporate knowledge of ooh la la Salon & Spa, moved to Florida in 1978 from Rochester, New York. Her life in hair styling began at the age of 11 as she practiced her skills doing beehives and french twists for her mother. Over the years, she has built on her hair knowledge by completing countless cuts and colors for friends and family. After the first career in accounting and banking, Peggy decided to throw herself whole-heartedly into hair care and design. She joined Ooh la la over 11 years ago and, in 2003, took her dedication to the hair business to a higher level when she purchased ooh la la Salon. From a family perspective, Peggy has four children and she balances her motherly and business qualities in expert fasion, often seen moving through the day in warp eight. With Peggy, you always know where you stand.

Ami came to Ooh la la Salon in 2006 and in her words, "loves every minute of it, from our great group of girls, to doing great hair."

Ashlee, from Rochester, Michigan, is a newcomer to the area, having arrived in Cape Coral in 2008, where she immediatley began her work at Ooh la la. Prior to her move, she attended Oakland University, in Michigan, for two years studying sociology. With the support of her mother, Ashlee's career in the beauty industry began when she trained at MCB. In the five years that Ashlee has been a stylist, she has developed a true passion and excitment for her chosen field. Her belief is that continuing education and workplace observation promote positive change and that "change promotes growth". In the time that Ashlee has been with ooh la la Salon, she has constantly challenged herself to work for the improvement of herself, but more importantly, for the improvement of her services to her clients. Now, if only Ashlee could channel her beliefs and desire for challenge and change in a positive direction and stop stiff-arming the many young men that have attempted to become part of her life.
